LEARNING OBJECTIVES
This certificate offers participants the knowledge and practice on the skills for coaching Government clients. Course outcomes include, but are not limited to:
Identifying tools, resources, and coaching models to fully support a client’s individual and organizational goals.
Developing an awareness of Government ethics to create a transparent and comfortable environment in the context of public service requirements and laws.
Being fully cognizant of the ICF core competencies and how they are integral and foundational to coaching a public service workforce.
Developing an awareness of many of the niche coaching areas involved in Government along with the assessments commonly utilized for client feedback.

WHY THIS COURSE?
Delivery Method: Taking this certificate will set you apart as a coach for Government coaching. This certificate program is designed to include introduction to a standard coaching model, Government coaching resources and tools, professional resources, and subjects relevant to Government coaching by a uniquely qualified AcademyGMC faculty. The certificate features mini-discussions and presentations, coaching exercises, case studies, and small group exercises, and most of all learning with experienced Government coaches who are currently working in the federal sector or former Federal Government coaches. It is based on Federal Government strategies and tools for public service career development. Additionally, the CGC class covers the eight ICF core coaching competencies, required coaching behaviors, and introduction to common coaching models. The course is in English.
Early Bird Rate: To receive the early bird tuition rate, a participant must have completed enrollment including payment by check or Government Form 1556 at least two weeks prior to class start date. Tuition includes all materials including one electronic textbook ordered by Course Manager through Amazon Kindle and sent to the participant’s email address/Kindle app provided prior to class start date.
Tuition Payments: A check or a completed Government Form 1556 will be accepted for the CGC tuition. Tuition checks are to be made out to our registrar: Academy of Government and Military Coaching LLC and then mailed to the AcademyGMC Registrar, in care of Ms. Barbara L. Hulick at 6307 Bridgeton Court, Springfield, VA 22152. Credit cards are not accepted at this time.
