CBCC COHORT CLASS
Live, online, fully interactive classes for groups of four or more as a 10-week course (10 two-hour group sessions, 10 pre-work/make-up assignments between lessons and an examination). All AcademyGMC lessons are in English and conducted by ICF certified coaches. Instructor location: Atlanta, GA.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
This course uses the James and Janice Prochaska book “Changing to Thrive” to build knowledge and skill in supporting behavioral change.
Identify and use the Stages of Change or the Transtheoretical Model of Behavior Change.
Identify tools, resources, and common coaching models to fully support the client’s professional and/or personal goals for behavioral change.
Identify potential challenges and strategies for overcoming common pitfalls in behavioral change coaching.
Practice the ICF core competencies that promote coaching excellence in behavioral change for areas such as health and wellness.
Critique coaching competencies to facilitate risk reduction through one-on-one coaching engagement.

WHY THIS COURSE?
Delivery Method: You will have ample opportunity to share coaching methodologies, techniques, and experiences from your successes and challenges with other participants and the course facilitator. You will practice your coaching skills through role play, and learning exercises, articles, and videos to support your coaching. The course covers the eight ICF core coaching competencies, required coaching behaviors, and introduction to common coaching models. The course is in the English language.
Early Bird Rate: To receive the early bird tuition rate, a participant must have completed enrollment including payment by check or SF 182 at least two weeks prior to course start date. Tuition includes all materials including electronic textbook ordered by Course Manager through Amazon Kindle and sent to the participant’s email address/Kindle app provided prior to class start date.
Tuition Payments: A check or a completed SF 182 will be accepted for the CBCC course tuition. Tuition checks are to be made out to our registrar: Academy of Government and Military Coaching LLC and then mailed to the AcademyGMC Registrar, in care of Ms. Barbara Hulick at 6307 Bridgeton Court, Springfield, VA 22152. Credit cards are not accepted at this time.
